CHARLESTON EQUITY INITIATIVE ANNOUNCES GUEST SPEAKERS FOR CHARLESTON EQUITY CONCERT

Charleston Equity Initiative is proud to announce our guest speakers for the Charleston Equity Concert, a virtual benefit concert featuring local black artists and local black community guest speakers. The concert will be streamed on various platforms, such as Facebook Live, on Saturday, June 20th at 6 PM. Proceeds from donations to the concert will go to support Charleston-area black 501(c)(3) charities.

We are excited to announce SC State Senator Marlon Kimpson and SC State Representative David Mack as our guest speakers for the community event.

“We are proud to add Senator Kimpson and Representative Mack, pillars of our Charleston community, to our team at Charleston Equity Initiative,” says Ke’Von Singleton, founder of the Initiative. “The guest speakers will be sharing our message of racial unity and hope for the Charleston community.”

CHARLESTON EQUITY INITIATIVE ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL BENEFIT  CONCERT “CHARLESTON EQUITY CONCERT” SATURDAY, JUNE 20TH, 2020

Charleston Equity Initiative is proud to announce the Charleston Equity Concert, a virtual benefit concert featuring local black artists and local black community keynote speakers. The concert will be streamed on various platforms, such as Facebook Live, on Saturday, June 20th at 6 PM. Proceeds from donations to the concert will go to support Charleston-area black 501(c)(3) charities.

“The Charleston Equity Concert will seek to not only to empower black citizens but to promote unity across the Charleston area,” says Ke’Von Singleton, local civil rights activist and founder of the Initiative. “The goal of the concert is to help bridge the gap in our community that has only been widened during these recent events.”

Performing artists include; Charlton Singleton, trumpet player from Grammy award-winning group Ranky Tanky, Brandon Robinson, Gabriel Washington, Christain Coleman, Nelson Gibson, and more. 

The Charleston Equity Initiative has partnered with Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, who are providing the venue for the concert. The event is being sponsored by 4 DA Kingdom Productions, and ILA 1422A.
